Nepal Cancer Survivor's Society Submits Memorandum to Health Minister for Cancer Care and Survivor Support

Nepal Cancer Survivor's Society (NeCaSS) submitted a memorandum to the Honorable Minister for Health and Food Hygiene on behalf of cancer survivors and patients, highlighting key areas where further government action and support are needed to improve cancer treatment and care in Nepal.

The memorandum incorporated valuable suggestions and recommendations received from cancer survivors, reflecting their experiences, challenges, and expectations regarding cancer treatment and support services. The initiative aimed to bring the voices and concerns of cancer survivors and patients to the attention of the concerned authorities and encourage meaningful improvements in cancer care.

During the meeting, the Honorable Minister received the memorandum positively and expressed a commitment to further study the recommendations and explore opportunities for their implementation.

Nepal Cancer Survivor's Society appreciates the positive response and commitment from the Ministry and remains hopeful that the recommendations presented will contribute to meaningful improvements in cancer treatment, patient support, and survivorship care across Nepal.
