Community Level Cancer Awareness Programme at Gairigaun Tole Sudhar Samitee, Satdobato

Nepal Cancer Survivor's Society (NeCaSS) successfully conducted a Community Level Cancer Awareness Programme at Gairigaun Tole Sudhar Samitee, Satdobato, with the active participation of more than 75 women from the local community.

The programme aimed to raise awareness about cancer prevention, the importance of early detection, regular health check-ups, and healthy lifestyle practices. The session also encouraged participants to become more informed about cancer and to seek timely medical advice when they notice potential warning signs or health concerns.

A medical doctor and members of the NeCaSS team led the awareness session. Participants actively engaged in the session through discussions, questions, and interactions with the healthcare professional and NeCaSS representatives, making the programme informative, interactive, and meaningful.
