Nepal Cancer Survivor's Society (NeCaSS) successfully conducted a Community Level Cancer Awareness Programme at Pragati Tole Bikash Samitee, Gothatar, with the active participation of more than 80 women from the local community.

The programme aimed to raise awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, healthy lifestyle practices, and the importance of seeking timely medical care. The session provided participants with an opportunity to learn more about cancer awareness and engage in meaningful discussions about health and well-being.

A medical doctor and members of the NeCaSS team led the awareness session. Participants actively interacted with the session doctor and NeCaSS representatives, asking questions and taking part in discussions that made the programme informative, engaging, and impactful.

The programme was jointly organized by Lions Club of Kathmandu Abaddha (151609), whose support and collaboration contributed to the successful implementation of this important community awareness initiative.

Nepal Cancer Survivor's Society extends its sincere gratitude to Lions Club of Kathmandu Abaddha (151609) for generously supporting NeCaSS in its efforts to conduct cancer awareness activities and reach communities with important information about cancer prevention and early detection.

NeCaSS remains committed to working with community organizations and partners to expand cancer awareness programmes across Nepal, empower individuals with knowledge, and encourage a stronger focus on prevention, early detection, and timely healthcare.
