School Level Cancer Awareness Programme at Baluddar Secondary School, Budhanilkantha

Nepal Cancer Survivor's Society (NeCaSS) successfully conducted a School Level Cancer Awareness Programme at Baluddar Secondary School, Budhanilkantha, with the active participation of more than 180 students.

The programme aimed to raise awareness among students about cancer prevention, early detection, healthy lifestyle practices, and the importance of seeking timely medical care. By providing young people with accurate and practical health information, NeCaSS seeks to encourage informed choices and promote a culture of health awareness within schools and communities.

The awareness session was led by a medical doctor and members of the NeCaSS team. Students actively participated in the programme through discussions, questions, and interactions with the session facilitator and healthcare professionals, making the event engaging, informative, and impactful.
